The
Adventurers Club
The Adventurer program was created to assist parents in their important responsibilities as a child’s primary teachers and evangelizers. The program aims to strengthen the parent/s/child relationship and to further the child’s development in spiritual, physical, mental, and social areas. At each level, the curriculum encourages an age-appropriate, active learning approach.
The Adventurer Club is divided into six levels from pre-k to 4th grade. Each level builds on the previous levels and is especially designed to interest, challenge, and provide successful experiences for children of that grade level.
Instead of asking children to learn a great deal of factual information, it introduces them to general concepts. The children learn to apply these concepts to their own lives by participating in a wide variety of experiences. Through the Adventurer Program, the church, home, and school can work together with the parent/s to develop a mature, happy child. Parental involvement is very important as it provide opportunities for parents to participate in the learning experience with their child/children.
One of the Adventurer Club objectives is to provide a meaningful and exciting experience as the children look forward with anticipation to someday joining the Pathfinders Club.
